Lumenyte Lamperd Undercarriage Camera Inspection System (LLUCIS): Overview : The operator sets up the tracks and powers it up. The cameras are connected to the portable computer and the computer turns on. The operator signals the driver of the vehicle to move forward over the track. as the vehicle enters the field of view of the cameras,the system is triggered and begins capturing video. As the vehicle progresses along the track the video is recorded and a live dispay provided to the operator from all cameras.After the vehicle has exited the track, the video recording is stopped. The operator,using the VCR style buttons is able to rewind,replay and freeze the image from each camera.The controls keep all cameras at the same point in time for simultaneous viewing. The video can be saved to a desired video format or to individual images.
